class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Il Museo della Ceramica &#8220;Lodovico Coccapani&#8221; si trova nel centro storico di Calcinaia, nei locali di un\u2019antica officina ceramica fondata nell\u2019ultimo decennio del Settecento, a fianco della torre d\u2019angolo del castello medievale, dai tre fratelli Luigi Giuseppe, Andrea Sigismondo e Ercole Ranieri Coccapani, membri di una famiglia di ceramisti che sin dalla fine del XVII secolo aveva diretto la bottega di ceramica della Fattoria dei Certosini della vicina Montecchio.<br \/>All\u2019interno della struttura, da poco restaurata, si snoda un percorso museale che propone al visitatore la storia dell\u2019officina ceramica di Calcinaia, attraverso le sue produzioni, gli ambienti artigianali, le fornaci recuperate e gli attrezzi del mestiere, senza dimenticare il contesto storico-archeologico della zona e la tradizione dell\u2019arte ceramica ben sviluppata nel Valdarno pisano dal Medioevo ai class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Il percorso di visita si snoda attraverso una serie di sale che illustrano la storia del territorio, a partire dalle pi\u00f9 antiche tracce archeologiche documentate, e la storia della fornace Coccapani e delle ceramiche da essa prodotte, molte delle quali raccolte nelle indagini archeologiche condotte prima del restauro del complesso.<br \/>Il percorso museale intende introdurre il visitatore alla conoscenza dell\u2019arte ceramica, attraverso la presentazione degli strumenti in uso, delle tecniche di produzione e decorazione, degli attrezzi e degli elementi che caratterizzano questo tipo di attivit\u00e0 artigianale.<br \/>La presenza delle fornaci, fonte materiale per la storia degli antichi mestieri, fanno del museo di
